I finally caught up with the last few episodes of Chuck. I thought I’d never cry watching an American show, but there I go. Cried my eyes out. I know my all-time favorite memory-loss case was in Hana Yori Dango, but what happened to Chuck and Sarah was also really sweet. She may not have completely regained her memories back, but she still accepted him for being him, and allowed herself to fall in love all over again. I love it when stories use the “amnesia/memory loss” plot device in such a way that it fits right into the story and executed properly.

Which makes me so sad that The Vow and The Moon the Embraces the Sun failed to get me emotionally invested in that area.
